In the heart of Thanet, Kent a group of compassionate individuals came together in 2011 with a shared mission: to save, rescue, and rehome stray and unwanted dogs. What began as a small, dedicated team of animal lovers has blossomed into a beacon of hope and transformation for countless canine lives.

At Angels 4 Dogs our journey began a decade ago, fuelled by the unwavering belief that every dog deserves a chance at a loving forever home. We recognized the heart-breaking reality that stray and unwanted dogs often face—abandonment, neglect, and a life of uncertainty. It was this recognition that ignited a spark of compassion, and that spark soon blazed into a full-fledged commitment to making a difference.

We see so many broken souls pass through the rescue from strays facing euthanasia in council pounds across the UK to our Romanian dogs who have faced the most awful brutality at the hands of humans- it never gets any easier to see; it is always heart breaking but watching them go onto their forever homes is an absolutely rewarding privilege to be a part of that never gets old!

As we reflect on our journey from 2011 to the present day, we are filled with gratitude for the support of our volunteers, donors, adopters, and fellow dog enthusiasts who have made our work possible. Together, we have saved lives, transformed futures, and made our corner of the world a better place for dogs in need.

Join us in our ongoing mission to save, rescue, and rehome stray and unwanted dogs. Together, we can continue to be a source of hope and light for those who have no voice of their own. Together, we can make a difference, one wagging tail, one loving home, and one act of compassion at a time.
