MY story
Chester arrived with us from Romania recently.
He has been doing really well in foster and is now ready for his forever home.
This is what his foster mum had to say:
CHESTER
Chester is an intelligent, confident, adorable, super energetic, loving puppy.
He loves playing fetching the ball, or any other squeaky toy you want to throw. He loves chewing like any puppy and loves a chew bone or toy or anything else he is allowed to chew on.
He does a beautiful sit, understands in, out, down and no, even if he does not always want to obey, and has some recall.
He is also quite capable to entertain himself for a long time. He is very observant of the movements of the ball when he moves it with his nose or paw.
He loves running around in the garden, chasing the ball or just for the sake of running.
He is toilet trained. He will wake you once, twice or not at all at night to go into the garden. During the day he will show you by getting restless and walking towards the garden door.
He loves cuddles and to be near you, prefers to sleep on the bare floor or on a mat, rather than in a dog bed. He is used to sleeping next to, rather than on the bed, although he will try to get on the bed every so often.
He can be left in a safe room for a while, and will cry a little when it takes too long for his liking He does however avoid going into the crate, despite enticement. He occasionally sticks his head and front paws in there, but that is it. His safe place is under the spare bed or just in the doorway of the room you are in, making sure you do not leave without him knowing it.
He loves people, has a lovely temperament and will make a lovely family dog.
It has been a real pleasure to foster him.
MY PERFECT HOME
Chester needs a secure garden with 6ft fencing minimum and no gaps at all.
As with all puppies on going training will be needed.
Chester can live with dogs, cats and children 8+.
