Hera has epilepsy.

MY story

Hera is a sweet little soul, full of energy and character. Sadly, she was the only one of her litter to survive. The rest were killed by other dogs :( she has had a rough start in life, but she deserves to find her forever home.

She is epileptic (idiopathic cluster seizures), which with her current medication has been controlled, but she still has a seizure once or twice roughly every 4-6 weeks. She does require daily medication with top-up medications when she has a seizure, as well as 6 monthly blood tests and checkups to control her dosages. Which we will cover the costs of for life.

She is house trained and great with dogs and people. Hera has grown up around other dogs and always been very good with them all. She is fairly high energy and needs a household that can keep up with that.

She is ok to be left for a few hours, providing she has something to keep her occupied like a brain game/Kong, etc.
Hera has not met cats or children, but with her nature, we would consider older children as she may just barrel through younger ones being excited.

Dogs with epilepsy are often over looked and it takes someone very special to give them a chance, we will provide full support and help for life with her, she just needs her person to start over with.

MY PERFECT HOME

Hera will need an owner who is able to manage her epilepsy.

She will need a secure garden with 6ft fencing and no gaps at all.

Hera can live with other dogs, cats should be fine on slow introductions and children 8+ please.
