MY story

Jack arrived with us recently from the pound. He was found straying in Kent.

He is some sort of Collie mix and only 8 months old. He is extremely friendly but still nervous. He has been through lots of change in a short time.

We believe he will be fine with other dogs. But would obviously invite you to bring your dogs to meet him first. We will continue to introduce him to other dogs over the next few weeks.

He is now settling in to our local kennels and getting to meet all the volunteers and kennel staff.
He has enjoyed time in the exercise area and is now learning the routine and schedules.

We would love to get him out of kennels and into a home asap. So we would also welcome a foster home in the meantime.

Jack is a lovely boy and will be the most loyal dog. Being a Collie Mix he will be a high energy dog that will need lots of walks and mental stimulation. So a young active family who have someone home most of the time would be ideal.

MY PERFECT HOME

Jack will need a secure garden with 6ft fencing and no gaps at all.

As with all puppies on going training will be needed.

Jack can live with other dogs and children 12+.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS

1

Fill in application form

Please fill in the form as honestly as possible. Our team will read the application and make sure it is the right match for the dog being applied for.

2

We will arrange a home check

If you and the dogs seem a good fit we will call you to discuss further, arrange to meet the dog and arrange a physical home check at your home.

3

Matched with your dog

Once we have agreed together that this is the right dog for you we will arrange for your dog to come to you. Depending whether this is via kennels or foster homes it may vary.

Ongoing Support

We love to keep in touch with everyone and hope you will reach out if you have any concerns or questions. We work with a number of local trainers and behaviourists too who can provide support.
