MY story
Kirby was dumped as a stray and found himself in the pound and had run out time. He came to us a real mess and could barely see as his eyes had had such bad infections. He has now had surgery to correct this amd is feeling much better. Despite his obvious pain he has alway been a gentle giant to everyone.
He is a large size boy at almost 40kg and does need some lead training. He has only ever been in kennels with us so we do not know if he is house clean or how he is to be left. He travels very well in the car but will try to get in the front so needs a seat belt or divider.
MY PERFECT HOME
Kirby would be best as the only pet in the home for now. He has tested ok with other dogs he has met and not overly interested in them but he is a big lad and would need one on one training. Typical of his breed he can be wary of strangers until he gets to know you but once he does after a few meets he is a gentle sweet boy. He needs someone with large breed experience and who understands mastiff and how they can be at first. He has never ever been aggressive (even when he was scared in the vets) and never growled, he has always been a wondeful lad to everyone he has met. No cats and an adult only home (18 plus)

Fill in application form
Please fill in the form as honestly as possible. Our team will read the application and make sure it is the right match for the dog being applied for.

We will arrange a home check
If you and the dogs seem a good fit we will call you to discuss further, arrange to meet the dog and arrange a physical home check at your home.

Matched with your dog
Once we have agreed together that this is the right dog for you we will arrange for your dog to come to you. Depending whether this is via kennels or foster homes it may vary.

Ongoing Support
We love to keep in touch with everyone and hope you will reach out if you have any concerns or questions. We work with a number of local trainers and behaviourists too who can provide support.
