MY story
River is a fantastically sweet, gorgeously pretty mix breed girl ready to find her forever home!
This is what her foster mum had to say:
River has been with us for a number of months now and we've been on quite the journey of transformation. Its taught us all as a foster family the magic of allowing time for these special dogs. Trust the process! If you read River's posts you will see she has been nervous, shut down in kennels, unsure of all visitors, never wanting to go on walks and only wanting to bond with her primary care taker. Well time and patience has changed so much.
While in our home and with our resident dog to give her reassurance River now goes on regular walks, although she can be a little unsure she happily leaves the house and gets more confident each time. She loves a run in a secure field! She welcomes treats from guests and family members alike. Enjoys lounging with her humans, playing with toys and being pampered. We didnt do anything drastic to help River overcome her fears or bad habits we just gave her time mainly. Time and routine. Shes a happy, bouncy pup with so much love to give!
She loves the coziness of her crate because it feels safe. River loves consistence so any new home will have to allow for a settling in period but she is so worth it. Please give her a chance, shes been over looked for too long ❤️
MY PERFECT HOME
River will need a secure garden with 6ft fencing minimum and no gaps at all.
As with all youngsters, ongoing training will be needed.
River can live with dogs, cats on slow introductions, and no children.

Fill in application form
Please fill in the form as honestly as possible. Our team will read the application and make sure it is the right match for the dog being applied for.

We will arrange a home check
If you and the dogs seem a good fit we will call you to discuss further, arrange to meet the dog and arrange a physical home check at your home.

Matched with your dog
Once we have agreed together that this is the right dog for you we will arrange for your dog to come to you. Depending whether this is via kennels or foster homes it may vary.

Ongoing Support
We love to keep in touch with everyone and hope you will reach out if you have any concerns or questions. We work with a number of local trainers and behaviourists too who can provide support.
