MY story
Sandy was sadly dumped and found himself in a UK pound. He had run out of time and was due to be euthanised to make space for more strays. So we agreed to take him in. He had some sores over his back and with flea treatments and medicated baths this has helped alot to start healing this. He has alot of scars on him so we believe he may have been used for coursing and simply wasn't very good at it so got abandoned. He is a lovely chap always over the moon to see anyone and go for his walks. He walks lovely and calm on the lead. He adores his toys, especially a big football! Sandy hasn't a bad bone in him and is just keen to play and have lots of loves!
MY PERFECT HOME
Sandy cannot live with cats as we do not think he will get along with them. He is good with the other dogs he has met so far and never had any issues at all from him. Children 8 plus as he can be a bit bouncy! He will need a secure 6ft fenced garden with no escape routes. Sandy may not have ever lived in a home so someone patient and understanding that he has been in kennels a while and may not be fully house trained. He will be neutered but we would rather do this in a home environment not in kennels, and we will cover the cost of this. As with all our dogs he is flea, wormed, vaccinated and chipped.
Sandy is simply a lovely chap and he will make a wonderful companion for his forever family. Currently based in Deal, Kent, fill in an application form to come and meet this handsome hound!
OUR ADOPTION PROCESS

Fill in application form
Please fill in the form as honestly as possible. Our team will read the application and make sure it is the right match for the dog being applied for.

We will arrange a home check
If you and the dogs seem a good fit we will call you to discuss further, arrange to meet the dog and arrange a physical home check at your home.

Matched with your dog
Once we have agreed together that this is the right dog for you we will arrange for your dog to come to you. Depending whether this is via kennels or foster homes it may vary.

Ongoing Support
We love to keep in touch with everyone and hope you will reach out if you have any concerns or questions. We work with a number of local trainers and behaviourists too who can provide support.
